Padded Shorts - Please help.
Just come back from a (short) 20 mile ride and my a**e is absolutely killing me. I bought some milano padded shorts for the recent Norfolk 50 and they were fine with no ache at all during that ride. However, they seem to be in-effective now.
I paid £14 for them (not much I know but I am still new and not looking at spending much til I know I like it!). If I spend a bit more will I notice the difference? Please forgive my ignorance but I could not justify loadsa wedge but I am keen to spend more.
What shorts do the members recommend? Your opinions are much appreciated.
Many thanks,

Are you new to cycling? If so it takes time for your backside to get used to it. You should find that it will stop getting sore after a while. Generally, the more expensive the shorts, the better the pad. A cheap pad may not be helping much. Sudocreme will help the soreness after a ride.0
