Cervelo - worldwide warranty?

I am thinking about buying a Cervelo whilst in the US and was wondering if anyone can offer any advice.
For instance are their any implications for the warranty or will this be respected by UK dealers?
I am confident that shipping should be ok, but any tips would be appreciated?
Any else that you can think, I probably need to know also, so please do not be shy.
