110 for me (23mm tyres; <100psi on 25mm tyres), but it depends to an extent on what you weigh. I'm around 85kg. 120 sounds bone-shakingly high.0

Can of worms! There are opinions aplenty on this one.
I'm 80kg and run 100psi with 22/23mm tyres.
Doesn't surprise me you have more punctures at 120psi. One Belgian race specialist I know won't pick up flatted team members if they run their tyres over 100psi! I haven't had a flat in 5,000km anyway. Last one was a shard of flint that would have got through at any road pressure.0 -
Hi there.
You need to clarify the question - am I riding a race bike on good roads in the dry here?
Cheers, Andy0 -
110 at the back and 100 at the front. I weigh 164lbs and I'm on 23mm Pro Race 3s.0

68kgs at present and run 110-115 front, 120-125 rear on 23mm Vredestein Fortezza Tricomps. When I first started using these tyres I did put a bit more in as they seemed soft at such pressures. They have however been fine since I gradually reduced them and give a nice supple ride.0

Somewhere in the region of 110psi front and back. In the winter I prefer 100 front and back to get more grip.I am between 70-72kgs depending on how much Leffe gets disposed of at the weekend.
I have pro-race 3 at the front and pro-race 2 at the back. Grippy as chuff.
I did run 100-110 last month but found that a bit soft.0 -

I go with the views of shazz.
It's a traction over a p******e argument, though I would rather err on the side of safety.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom0 -

Another vote for 100 front, 110 rear
(I'm ca 75kg)
But In the wet, I'll drop them 10-15psi
At the WRC a couple of weeks ago, there were three cattlegrids, one was smooth but I hit the other two hard because the first rung obviously projected - one was at the bottom of a dip, the sort you zoom down to get momentum up the other side, so I hit it hard and fast.
There were people busily fixing p*nct*res just after these two cattlegrids - I assume they were running low pressures and had snakebites.0 -
I ride continetal gp4000s tyres at 100 psi front and rear (day-to-day) and i weigh about 105kgs....so i am a fatty. It works out fine for me. 120psi day-to-day is pretty high.0

only once ever gone up to 120 on the road. It took my backside a week to recover!0

Hi there.
Ok then, today I had 110psi in my Pro Race 2 clinchers, whilst I had 140psi in my tubs when I raced last weekend.
