Bottom Bracket, which one?

Hey
My BB is screwed, its creaking and making crazy noises all the dam time. I've tightened it up, tightened up the cranks and it still makes noises. So I've decided to buy a new one. I know its got to be a square spindle on it any ideas on makes etc? I was thinking of a FAS power Drive BB. I don;t want to be spending too much, as i'm broke.
The bike is a Marin Bolinas Ridge 2008.

forgot to mention where do you measure to get the size i need?

any. just get the same length axle.
a shimano UN54 or a truvative LE
