My legs are naturaly hairless so I don't have to worry about it, I would show you all but you would only get excited.

So which bits do you shave then?
    I've read all your posts
  • Used to shave my legs when I was younger and used to do duathlons and scary downhill things on my mountain bike. Just used to use a disposable bic razor and a bar of soap in the shower though non of your namby pamby waxing. Now I'm older and have calmed down and don't come off (as much) I don't bother.

Just out of interest how far north do you go ? I used to reckon that the lowest point of my lycra short legs was the limit and anything further would be bordering on cross-dressing

Whoa whoa whoa.... half the point of me considering waxing is that I want to avoid the fashion faux pas of hair poking THROUGH the lycra. I'll pretty much be going "full leg", and potentially throwing in a sack/crack combo also.

My plan is to try it in the autumn/winter time when the legs will be pretty much covered when I am in public, in case something goes badly wrong.

Was thinking of this very subject again this evening when I had to get in the shower to get all the wet gritty muck off my legs - feels like that would be much easier to get off smooth legs.

Has anyone ever tried one of the hair removal creams? Seems like that would be an alternative to shaving but easier/cheaper than waxing and longer lasting than shaving too.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

I have. They recommend you try it on a small area first. I recommend you take this advice even if you've never read instructions before. I dropped the damn bottle and poured it all over my shin, and had a horrible, red, swollen, blotchy, itchy reaction. Not fun.

try a bit of mascara for aerodynamic effiency and that shampoo that looks after your pentapeptides in your hair. next thing they will stopping on the tour de france to touch up their rimmel lipstick.

ill stick with my hairy a$$ and knackers and wont be lying @rse pointing toward the ceiling with somebody pulling the hair out and grinning like a madwoman.

I don't understand how so many people in these threads will shave their legs but leave their knackers in a right disgraceful state - shave those balls and trim that bush boys! Maybe I've just watched too much porn.

JimmyK - mascara only works if you have used eyelask tongs to get the 'curve' - then the air just flows so much better over your head.
a touch of lipgloss is enough, otherwise you are in 'biketart' territory....

My wife's just bought an epilator (?) - a de-fuzzing machine which is the nearest thing to torture I have yet seen in the home that you can get freely in Argos.
When she asked, I said "No way...."

im not at all surprised you didnt let one of those defuzzer things anywhere near the ole sack brutha.

I might try the face pack mate - the knuckledraggers who abuse me from the (relative) safety of their cars might think twice when they see my war-face.... :x

    I'd only eat the cucumber....

The thing that prevents me from the shaved-legs look is the amount of abuse I would then get from the rest of the clan, especially with a beach holiday coming up.

the old "oh it's easier after a crash" line again eh?

    ;-)

it's done to "belong" - it's an important ritual.

I love leg shaving threads. they're ace! People shouldn't have to justify why they do or they don't. It's personal preference.

I know a guy who borrowed his mums and tried it on his face.

    Once.

The gospel, according to my wife, is that you use hair conditioner(not shampoo or
shaving cream or soap) on your legs when you shave. Can't quite remember the
reason for this(will have to ask) but have tried it and it works. Women know everything.

I recently started trimming my pubes back when I discovered - to my dismay - a grey pube sticking proudly through the lycra, I've decided that hairy legs with this just looks wrong so I'm gonna go the whole hog - although back sack and crack are right out. a good trim of the pubes and I'm gonna shave my legs, although I'm quite tempted to try my wife's epilator. As for watching too much porn - if you haven't gone blind - you haven't overdone it! Porn stars have a point though, trimming does make the old John Thomas look larger!

Sorry if there's too much info here folks but it's good to share
