Is there a great difference between Easton 30s/50s/70s... other than the 30s not being taperwall - is this a great disadvantage?

I've got 30s as I wanted somethng cheap to try out and they are certainly rigid enough.0 -

not as wide as the eastons but very light. 40mm rise
crc have the 20mm rise version
