Which rack on a Giant SCR2?

I've just fitted a TorTec Ultralite rack on my Giant SCR2.

It's nice and light and simple, which is what I wanted, but the platform is very high up, so my rack bag is a bit squashed under my saddle. Also I imagine it's best to have the weight as low down as possible?
I'm considering swapping it for this one (LifeLine Alloy Superlite Rear Rack)

as the height is adjustable.
Or is a Tubus such as this one worth the extra money?

Any thoughts/recommendations much appreciated. Thanks

how about using pannier(s) to get the weight lower down? I've got the same set up as you (SCR2 + Tortec Ultralight), with pannier, and don't have any problems.0

I have one of these. A Topeak Super Tourist DX Rear Rack
I'm very keen on it. It doesn't look simple, but it's actually not very heavy and the extra side rails mean that panniers are mounted nice and low."A recent study has found that, at the current rate of usage, the word 'sustainable' will be worn out by the year 2015"0
