I have just bought a second hand Giant reign 3 of ebay. When I colected it the brakes were fine. We had to take the front wheel off to put in the car and as i have never uses hydlualic brakes i pulled the lever and the pistons went in so we reset the pistons and there was a rubbing noise and they wern't as well as they were so i thought that one of the pistions had not been put back far enough so i put it back a little but now with the wheel on I pull the brake lever fully and they only move a tiny bit and don't stop the wheel.

Need help desperatly because I am going biking in scotland in 6 days.

get out there and use the bike. the pistons need to reset themselves.

So keep using them. and they will come good.

Or strip them down and clean all the parts and the refit and rebleed.

also what version of the M4 are they. there are 3 versions that i can think of.
