pulled muscles?

does anyone know any good ways of getting pulled muscles to heal quicker, as i have pulled both my thys and its realy peeing me off. i can hardly walk, let alone ride a bike :(

    If it's too late for ice treatment, get in a hot bath.

    You've probably overloaded them, rest and they'll be stronger next time.

    Deep Heat cream or Tiger Balm both work for me. Really stink though.

    How did you manage to pull both of them?? Sounds more like they are just sore.

    Paintballing?? Sounds like they're just sore from all the running around mate. If you cycle but don't run much, you use the muscles in your legs in different ways.

    If I haven't run for ages but have done lots of cycling my legs ache quite a bit the next day. if you've be paintballing then you were probably sprinting everywhere so just overdone it a bit. Hot bath and deep heat or ibruprofen gell to ease the pain a little. In fact as you did it 4 days ago, you'll probably find there's almost no pain at all by now!? :D

    You may actually be better alternating between hot and cold treatments but it depends on how old the injury is. :)
