New Stem...
Sudden Death

Wotcha,
I'd like to replace the Azonic Shorty stem currently on my bike for a Demolition F40 bmx one. Can anybody tell me if there would be a difference in in handlebar thickness's?
I'm not sure if I can simply fit a set of RaceFace bars into the bmx stem?
Many thanks
Had to alter the stem number from an F1 to F40

What diameter of bars do you currently run? If they are the same, then they will swap.
Is the other clamp of the stem the same (for the steerer tube?)0 -
Wotcha,
I'm not currently sure what the diameter of the bars I currently use are :?
But I do know that the steerer clamps are the same
I think I need to find a clamp on the bar end at a size of 25.4mm?Anders

Its usually printed on the bar - either is 25.4 or 31.8mm at the clamping section.0

Wotcha,
Many thanks for the advice
Greatly appreciated
I used a rather uncomplicated method in the end...
Wrapped a cable tie around the Race Face Low Riders and then tried the same tie around a spare pair of bmx bars and there is sadly a large difference
Thanks for the help though, it'll teach me to find other ways of filling my timeAnders
