i have recently purchased a specialized hardrock and am looking to upgrade the tyre's. I am new to mountain biking any my question is this...
the stock tyre's are 26" 2.1, i am looking to replace these with Kenda Tomac small block 8 DTC should i get the 2.1 or 2.35?? what is the performance difference and will the 2.35 fit my bike?? Sorry if this seems a dumb question!

If it is a very light, fast XC tyre for dry conditions, yes. But seems a little removed from what the Hardrock is - I'd go for something with a more all round tread. Always go for Kevlar beads.0

Can you suggest any alternatives? i was basing the Kenda on the review on this site. I mostly ride on a man made cycle paths, but want a tyre i can take off road too as i get more adventures.
