Is anyone doing or recently finished end to end

I met three Parkinson suffers two weeks ago on the A49 south of Warrington trying to get to JOGs. I rode with them for a couple of hours but had to leave them. Later on that afternoon, a motorist told me one of them had come off the bike and badly cut his leg. Has anyone seen them on the road? I know they were heading for the Lakes where they were going to meet up with other suffers of Parkinsons. I hope they made it.
