Just a quickie...after all the good advice i got about sidi shoes....happy to confirm they are the dogs.....thinking of a new saddle....keen to get the contact points right. One place has Arione on offer at £40.....what are they like? I know we get into the world of personal preference but an overview will do...any good for long days in saddle....day after day?

I like my Arione. But saddles are a personal thing.

  • Where Mr T? I am in the market for a decent saddle for my new Cube Peloton. Have heard great things about the Arione.

Fizik saddles very handy for the clip-on saddlebags too. I'm pleased with my Arione.

As reddraggon says, what may suit one person in a saddle may not suit others. Having said that I always had real problems finding a comfortable perch until I got my Arione

Best saddle so far..but limited by the saddles i've ridden and as said, personal preference is the issue. The clip for the saddle pack on the Arione is a real bonus.. no more snagging you expensive bib shorts on the velcro.

Before that had a Specialized Toupd and could not get on with it... maybe ok for some. For me very uncomfortable for long rides.

Recommend you give it a go. Best saddle i've used so far..

    best saddle I've had.
I was put off by how narrow it looked since I have wide hips, but it is great.
Took about a week to bed in, but I've done several 100+mile rides and its the most comfy saddle I've had.
