Gah! Another Spare Wheel to Store

So, the original rear wheel on my bike started popping spokes, I bought a new one, intending to get the original respoked and use it as a spare.

Naturally it just sat in my shed for three months, and now my newer wheel has failed (cracked rims) I've got two wheels to repair.

So I've taken them into the LBS (one warrenty rim replacement, one rebuild with new spokes), possibly over a week's wait, so I've bought ANOTHER £65.00 wheel so I can ride in next week and save £25 - £50 on tube fares (and be on my bike which frankly is worth more).

Can't have too many wheels I suppose...

Have I reached optimum wheel density, will I actually managed to get one repaired before the other two have failed, or will I end up with three broken wheels to take to the LBS and have to fork out for another new one. Who knows!?

you could try looking at the for sale section on here- and trying to sell one of the wheels

[ Probably sell it just before the other wheels knacker again

Now, I've never actually seen that, might be worth a try, quite expensive to make a mistake though, excluding the reconstructive surgery.
