A bit sick i know but waking up to rain and thinking about how muddy and wet i was going to get today really gave me a buzz!!!!
Back on with the mud tyres and off i go. Is there something wrong with me or has anyone else just thought great i'm going to get covered in crap today :?: :?:

While its always a sense of achievment arriving back at the car of the Trail cafe covered in mud, I took one look out the window this morning and decided against going out on the bike. Its too damn wet and windy0

na i love mud, great fun. dry sandy trails do nothing for me! i tend to leave the mud tires on year round.0

I was always a dry weather rider until last winter when I realised how much riding you miss by waiting for the Summer !! So I just carried on riding all through the winter and loved it,the Trails seem new and more challenging in the wet so it sharpens your skills, keeps your fitness up and satisfys the childish instinct to get covered in mud !!
Plus my bike maintainence skills have improved as a bike needs more attention after winter riding.Apart from the extra bike care winter riding is great fun

I agree, if you waited for the Summer to arrive...you'd never get out. Personally, I prefer the dry, hot weather for riding, but I always ride all year round...come rain or shine!
That said, it's persisting it down here in Sheffield, but I'm just getting everything ready to start my pedal to Wharncliffe.0
