Can some people more in the know reccomend me some nice new flat pedals for general riding, xc, forest roads... etc. Not too bothered about price but obviously don't want to be paying sily prices.
Thank you guys.

DMR V8, V12 V12 Mag. I have the V8's on my Merlin and the V12 mags on my enduro. cant fault either of them!!I said hit the brakes not the tree!!

i love v12 pedals but cant tell the difference when riding between those, v8s and the much more wallet friendly wellgo versions.
my recommendation would be welgo v8 copies.0 -
the V12's have more pins and better sealed bearings. and the mags are lighter, hence i bought them for the enduro.I said hit the brakes not the tree!!

I second (or third) the v8s or v12s. used both and found them very reliable and very grippy with the right shoes

V8's every time for me !!0

I'll second the slim jim's. Mine have survived really well too, only reason I'm not using 'em at the moment is I switched to SPD's on my XC bike.
Cheers,

another vote for DMR's Wellgo make exactly the same but DMR put money back into the riding scene in several ways and are a british company etc etc0

Wellgo MG1. Lighter than all of the above, and cheap.
Wellgo make pedals for DMR.0 -
Been pleased with my DMR V8s. Good solid build & grippy pins. Managed to smash the corner off one on rocks but they're still going strong.0

Crank bro's 50 50 xxmerlin where doing them cheap as chips0

Another vote for Gussett Slim Jims here - me and the missus use them with 5.10 shoes. A good grippy combo. Plus you can get them in different (v brite) colours0

Wellgo MG1s!
Very Light, sealed and very grippy.
You can get them on ebay from Australia for under £25. Bargain!0 -
them new E13 ones do look mighty fine!0

Azonic Pookie. Absolutely awesome! Super grippy and the wide platform is confidence boosting. They can take a hammering too, I have read reports of people losing pins but I have yet to lose one. Highly recommend.0
