Interesting letter received from British Cycling yesterday (in my capacity as a reliability ride organiser)...............not so much the content as the timing................a response to Cyclosport.org's little e-mail from the other week?
The line about them being "at the heart of non-competitive cycling for more than 40 years" rings a little hollow. Competitive cycling yes, but non-competitive events were very much left to the CTC and Audax UK until fairly recently.
