Chain Problem
I got a new Shimano 10 speed chain last month and have done about 500 miles on it. A few weeks ago I noticed a strange rattle that took a while to tell where it was coming from, in the end it was the chain that was folding over and rubbing the rear forks when I was in the top gears big chainring/last 3 freewheeling (54/32 12/27)
I decided just to get a new KMC chain as I suspected the Shimano chain was too long, but its strange how it went ok for 500 miles at the lenght it was?. I fitted the new KMC chain as advised by Sheldon Brown eg: Putting the chain on the large/large combination, without running it through the rear derailer.

The rear derailer and cassette are band new fitted on about the same time as the Shimano chain, this is leaving me a bit confused, I am starting to suspect the rear mech tension/fitting?
