Im going to have to purchase some new tyre's very soon.

I want to go from 26x2.10 to 26x2.35 or wider..Just wanted to know if anyone with a Ava

Yes, be careful with Avalanches and rear clearance. Many report 2.3 and ovber rubs or is very tight - and was the case with my )older) avalanche.

Do you think 26x2.25 would be ok..thinking of the Panaracer Cinder tyre?

    Thanks again

Hrd to say, as different manufacturers measure up differently. Hopefully some other users can help!

I would say go for Maxxis ADvantage 2.25s. well reviewed tyres and Maxxis are said to come up narrow anyway.

My Avalanche came with Tiogas (Ithink were 2.1 rear & 2.3 front) The rear tyre rubbed & damaged the frame, so i've put XC Pro 2.1 on front & rear now. Personally I wouldn't go any larger than the 2.1 on the rear cos of clearancce. Having said that the Tiogas come up wider than the Panaracers

ive got an aggressor and have fitted a 2.35 Maxxis Minion to the back and i reckon thats the absolute limit - theres about 6mm give eitherside of the walls and the seatstays

Might be an idea to keep an eye on the frame. you may find that when the tyre is loaded with cr@p and/or slightly under pressure that there could be some damage. Over time it can go right through the paint & make a groove into the frame
