Hi just got a 2nd hand cannondale and went out on it for 1st time the other night when i was shown the lock out on the top of shock when i brought it i hadnt really taken it all in
as was a bit of a giddy school boy thinking wooo i am buying a Cannondale,,he he

if i pull it to left or right position the shock still stays locked

i emailed the guy he said "If you release a very very small amount of air from the lefty and change the pressure this will allow it to go from locked to unlocked for you.

Best to do this at a bike shop first with a specialist shock pump.

I always ran around 300lbs in it, but see what works best for you

does this sound true?

are we talking about the fork or the shock when you say 300psi?

i am sure he means the air inside the lefty fork, as there is a air valve at bottom of leg joining next to front wheel hub of fork

i have owned a few standard forks over the years like Rock shox and marzocchi but this fork is like a diffrent kettle of fish for me ive searched the web for info on the basics but i cant find anything about the 2001

    Hi nicklouse

    hope your good

i just got my shock pump and tested the psi it had like 170 so i think old owner was confused

i tried 150psi and it goes down but its a bit gravelly when compressed are leftys like this as ive only experienced a normal set of rock show, fox, or marzocchi
