Hi just got a 2nd hand cannondale and went out on it for 1st time the other night when i was shown the lock out on the top of shock when i brought it i hadnt really taken it all in
as was a bit of a giddy school boy thinking wooo i am buying a Cannondale,,he he
if i pull it to left or right position the shock still stays locked
i emailed the guy he said "If you release a very very small amount of air from the lefty and change the pressure this will allow it to go from locked to unlocked for you.
Best to do this at a bike shop first with a specialist shock pump.
I always ran around 300lbs in it, but see what works best for you
does this sound true?

If you bring your bike in the bath don't forget to wash behind your gears

are we talking about the fork or the shock when you say 300psi?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i am sure he means the air inside the lefty fork, as there is a air valve at bottom of leg joining next to front wheel hub of fork
i have owned a few standard forks over the years like Rock shox and marzocchi but this fork is like a diffrent kettle of fish for me ive searched the web for info on the basics but i cant find anything about the 2001If you bring your bike in the bath don't forget to wash behind your gears0 -
