These seem to have disappeared off the face of the planet.
Does anyone know if they're still available ?

I got some 2006 chorus levers from total cycling but it looks like they're all gone now.0

Does it make any difference? I've got bot QS and non-QS Chorus and havn't noticed any difference.0

AFAIK both Chorus and Record retain the micro-ratchet of old rather than the new QS escapement mechanism - so should continue to work with pretty well any front mech.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

No...QS refers only to the lighter action of the front mech through a geometry tweak of the mech and something in the left Ergo lever and came in in 2007 throughout the range of road Ergos though strictly speaking the idea first came in 2005 in the Flatbar Ergos.
The Escapement mechanism of Centaur to Xenon and Micron of Record and Chorus refers to the innards of both left and right levers....Micron being the name given to the ratchet system which Ergos had all had since 1992...Escapement being the G-spring free design first seen in Xenon...it's marketed as requiring virtually no maintainence but in practice means it's not repairable.I'd rather walk than use Shimano0 -
Bugg*r ! I realise I'm probably being fussy, but I know non-QS levers work well (I've a pair of Record ones on number 1 bike), and I suspect that since Campag are selling a front mech that's badged as QS there's a bit more to it than just marketing.
Oh well, the hunt goes on....
Thanks for all the replies folksI\'ve got a really witty sign-off but someone else is using it0
