transport skewers

I' m a little stuck, I need a skewer thing to put in between the forks and rear drop out of my bike for transporting in a bike bag?

    Ask nicely at your LBS.

    Bikes are delivered with them, they throw them away.

    Alternatively, cut a piece of copper pipe just narrower that your drop outs, fit a large flat washer at either end on the inside to protect the paintwork and use your wheel QR
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
