Anyone come across some form of simple loop holder for the bars to slip your riding glasses arm in?...I am just asking before I make my own up to see if there is such a thing.
I tend to remove my glasses during hot sweaty climbs & replace them for the faster bits..I struggle one handed to fix my glasses into my helmet vents, unlike most pros it would seem, they also have bounced off when slipped under a gear wire.
Strikes me a simple hook/loop type clip somewhere on the bars would create the easiest place to put them when they are off, as I say it wont be too difficult to make something, but just wondered what everybody else did!

That's where mine always go - just drop them into a jersey pocket.

    Hi there.

Tuck em into the back of your jersey at the neck line - one leg inside.

    Cheers, Andy

Why not just put them in your helmet?

The only problem I find with putting them in a jersey pocket is that I sweat a lot, and quite often the glasses come back out steamed & smeared & fogged up and consequantly take a few seconds to clear. I just thought that hooking them on the bike will mean they are totally clear from any form of smearing etc from body fluids etc. I like the one leg in the neck of the jersey Idea though, hadnt thought of that one!

Honestly, fitting them in the air vents of your helmet is very easy and can be done one-handed. Just flip them upside down and fix the furthermore sunglasses arm in the vent then do the other one, push them as far back as you can and hey presto they're firmly fixed!!!
  • + 1 for the helmet method, lots of pros do it too

I shall persevere with the helmet method then..I just figured that was alright for pro's as if the glasses fell off they wouldnt be too concerned, I aint too keen on losing a £100 pair of oakleys though!
I must admit I hadnt done the flip upside down bit, so maybe that will make them fit in my vents better
    thanks for the advice
