Having decided I want hub gears and discs for next winter, the 3 speed Centrum seemed ideal (and I love the looks!).

And yet....are the designers quite mad or do they have no concept of RAIN? While could bodge a front 'grd I think, the rear looks next-to-impossible.

Anybody considered this bike and/or thought of/seen one fitted with the 'grds that would make it a sensible bike for the UK?

Been riding one of these to work since february, used a front guard from an old full-sus bike and a topeak defender on the rear (fixed to the seat stem and secured with a an elastic band to the seat stem luggage rack), has worked fine so far.

    Thanks.

Well, yes, expect could do a make-shift set up, but I really prefer the real thing, so I guess it'll just have to be a different bike!
