I am looking into getting some hand builts using open pro rims. I am confused about how many spokes I should have.

I am between 76 - 78kg. There for going out and riding as fast as I can for 2-4 hours Kent / Surrey, no commuting or touring.

Should I go for 32 front and back, 28 front and 32 back or 28 front and back.

Also is there much difference betweeb Open pro black and open pro CD.

I'd go 32 rear for sure - you want the lateral strength

then either 32 or 28 front. I run 32 myself and I'm a similar weight

The main thing is to use a good builder. They'll be able to advise re. spoke count and type for you weight/style/budget.

OP black and CD are different. CD is a special coating and has a mixed press. I'd stick with the standard black if I was you, Or if you can afford, go for the ceramic versions. The braking surface lasts longer and braking is better too. Not cheap though. Depends on whether you ride in winter too.
