hey guys,

i know it's probably been done a million times, but what's a good tyre for fast road commuting... i'm looking for good puncture resistance aswell as the ability to cope with changeable conditions as the bike'll get used every day.

cheers

Have had Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres for 7 months now - bit heavy but no punture so far (touch wood) punture is more to me. Have been good in all weathers

Bontrager X-Lite Hard Cases. You can get them for £10 each from All Terrain Cycles. I've had one flat in over 18 months of commuting in London on them.

Continental Ultra Gatorskins or GP4000 are fine (and can be found cheap with the advent of the GP4000S)

Michelin Krylions - if you can source them. So good - they are hard to find.
