Glasses recommendation

I'm looking for some durable glasses with interchangeable lenses. I would like some with a lens that is suitable for forest and sunshine riding (ie. tinted, but not so dark that you can't see in the shadows). I would also like a darker lens for road riding and a clear lens. Ideally, I would like to spend about £25 but I don't mind splashing out a bit more for something decent.
Has any body tried these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kuota-Multi-Lens- ... dZViewItem
Or, what about some polarising glasses. Has anybody tried these? http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/xudd-900- ... c-3924067/

I used these for a while, they did break in the end but I used to swap lenses far too often. Bargain at that price
Still use them now occationally, I just don't dare swap the lenses.0 -
I also have the DHB's but unfortunately they're very prone to steaming up, particularly on climbs. I want some of the Specialized ones but they're quite a lot more expensive.0

Oh yes...thanks NikB...glasses that steam up easily, that's another thing I want to avoid!. I don't want much for my £25 do I???0
-
Yes the DHBs do steam up, which is a shame because they are otherwise a good value pair of glasses0

You can pick up a decent set of BBB glasses for around £30 (as worn by the Quick-Step team).
They come with 3 lenses, shaded (sunny), yellow (overcast), and clear (rain/night). I think you can pay a little extra and get an additional 3 sets of lenses, but i am not sure what these would be used for.
I'll look out a link for you - they have been great glasses so far for me.0 -

The ESP lenses do a great job in all but the sunniest conditions.
Damn it! I thought I was going to be the first person to recommend Bolle safety glasses.
My misses works in a lab and they all use Bolle Bandidos. She tells me they would be awesome for biking.

They are cheap enough to buy on a whim too, which is what I'm going to do.
Check out the whole Bolle range here.

Just ordered the Smith Reactor Max with polar lenses, bit exy but I'm fed-up with buying the cheaper ones and them falling apart. (Remains to be seem if these do the same!)Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

I have the red ones which i think are pretty cool and understated -

If you are feeling rather confident in your abilities and want something more flash, they have them with the world champion stripes (as worn by Boonen and Bettini).
It would take a brave and confident man to pull them off though.0 -

xcracer, I've been using those kuota glasses for over a year now. I use them everyday when I commute to and from work on my road bike. I've worn them in all conditions without any problems, most of the time I forget I'm wearing them.
What I originally wanted was an affordable pair of glasses to protect my eyes from dirt and grit when cycling to work. So far they haven't let me down, I haven't changed the lenses all that much as I prefer the clear lenses. I was only interested in protecting my eyes.
I also have several different Rudy Project glasses as well (Kerosene and Rydon), but I really like these Kuotas as well.
I remember buying them from www.probikekit.com (same lenses and frames as in your link) for about £15, although they sell a different brand now.2004 Trek 5500 OCLV

So the Spesh Adaptalites are no good for night riding then?0 -
out riding last week they had strimmed the grass beside the track it was everywhere and was flicking up in my face off the bike in front..
That night I was flicking through an argos catalogue in a mates and saw a set of Raleigh glasses for a tenner brown tint/yellow/and clear sets of lenses all in a nice case
went to another store the next day they wanted 100 quid for cycling glasses
SO....
Argos now own my money or ten pound of it anyway!!!0 -
any tint at night is'nt good, you want near as you can to 100%. the lightest the adaptalites go is 78%? which at night is very dark, might as well ride along with my eyes closed.0
