    Nice to see the good old "vertically compliant but laterally stiff" raising it's ugly head again.

    Not that bad value at sale price - though you can still get lighter for that sort of money.

    Got a Giant TCR carbon 2004 frame I'd be changing for the Hed.

    Would there be any point other than satisfying my need for something new ?

    over the TCR - probably not. the HED frame is quite heavy too for a medium size unit.

    looks nice and if you had nothing then it is a lot of frame for £499 - but i don't think you would gain a lot over your TCR

    except satisfy that need for something new, of course.
