Specialized - Bottle/Cage combo ?
First post from a total newbie to the world of cycling.
My road bike (Specialized Allez 18 gear 2008) is on its way from the UK to Ireland where I'm living.
Anyhow I order some other Specialized gear to match the bike.
My quick and daft question is:
I got the Specialized Rib Cage (MTB) and the Spec. Big Mouth bottle from evans cycles
and find that the bottle is very tight in the cage. Definitely not something you'd take out of the cage while on the bike, well at least not without applying more force than you'd probably want to.
Have I bought the wrong combination here or should it be quite tight ?
Thanks!
Mark

They are quite tight. I have two rib cage roads.
They work fine with the 750ml ProBikeKit bottles and the "free" bottle I had from PowerBar.
I did find ALL of the Spec bottles a VERY tight fit.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
