I'm only asking this as my GF keeps nagging me saying there must be something??
Y'know motorcyclists use a comms set to talk to a pillion passenger, well, can you get the same sort of things for cyclists? I think my girlfriend tires of me not hearing her when she's trying to nag as she tags behind on a run
Seriously though, is there a simple comms system for two riders on a bike??
Cheap as well, gotta be cheap
Cheers.

Hmmm never thought of that.
I think she wants something more discreet but it certainly is an option.
Hopefully this might put her off

Thought about mobile phones and bluetooth headsets? Set them up properly and you can even dial hands free(ish). Reception might be a bit patchy though. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -

Wind noise can affect bluetooth headsets even at quite low speeds. You could always be a gentleman, and ride slower so she can keep up, ride along side you and just shout...

My GF and I use motorola PMR radios to keep in touch, very handy!
You would have to think about the mount. We attach ours like this.

They mount is a lot more stable for having both the motorola belt clips and the plastic rings on the camel back chaos/mayhem bags shoulder pads. I then zip tie the belt clips to the rings for security.
With other bags attaching the motorola belt clip to a horizontal strap on the shoulder pad, (a lot of bags seem to have these), it was OK but not as secure as with the rings on those bags.
You could get inline ear pieces with mikes but I know in reality they get uncomfortable and its practicial to have them on the loudspeaker. My Ride Stumpjumper Expert 20080 -
Wow, thanks LAROK for the info and pics.

Actually, it's a good idea, i'm sick of having to stop every time my wife wants to speak to me as i cant hear her when i'm a little way up front, and trust me, she never shuts up LOL so i'm always stopping, tour de france guys use them all the time, probably a bit pricey though0
