Hi,
can anyone tell me how you adjust the hight of the handle bars with a threadless stem.

I would like to adjust mine a little higher but can see how it works?

queue falling over laughing at the guy who can't adjust his handle bars!

Cheers

I have a nasty feeling you may be stuffed. The steerer tube is usually cut to suit the rider & therefore permanent.

However, one option may be to undo the stem between the tube and the bars themselves and fix it back upside-down, that usually raises the bars by a fair bit.

    Hope this helps...

Looks like the purchase of a new stem is in the pipeline, one with some angle to it so you can mount it the wrong way up to give you the extra inch  you want.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
