Shimano Dura Ace 24 or 50 carbon clinchers
Looking at some new wheels. Anyone yet laid their hands on the new Shimano Dura Ace carbon/aluminium clinchers - either the 24 or 50mm rim version? Would be interested to know:
- if the 24mm is as light as they say, and whether it is a reasonably strong wheel for our British roads;
- if the 50mm is too heavy (I see reports that they weigh anywhere between 1580g and 1700g) - which seems a bit bulky if you compare them to Reynolds Assaults.
thanks
