I want to find out about bikes equiped with Campag mirage/Veloce/Centaur. Christ it's a pain in the arse. I don't want to spend over £1400 (a big ask I know) and Alu is ok. My current is full Campag at £800

I had the same problem a while back. Very few manufacturers spec fully built bikes with campag.
Why not build a bike yourself or get a decent bike shop to build it for you. I got Paul Hewitt to put together a bike for me. It had an Eddy Merckx aluminium frame with Campag Centaur and handbuilt wheels. Cost about £1300
The bike is now relegated to winter bike but is still a great bike and is much better than a lot of peoples good bike.
It may work out slightly more expensive but you can choose all the parts you want and dont have to be stuck for second rate Shimano components0 -
How about a Wilier from Epic cycles, they build with full campag. They have a full Mirage equipped Alu/Carbon Evasion for £1099 all the way up to a full Centaur Mortirolo for £1599 http://www.epic-cycles.co.uk/wilier.htm'Hello to Jason Isaacs'0

A good LBS should be able to give you a quote on the cost of building up a bike with the groupset of choice.0

Swapping components is part of a decent bike shop's building process. Taking the "fishing Gear" off and putting on bike components (Campag) should be no probs.Racing is life - everything else is just waiting0

Tanks, I was looking at a Cinelli too. I have a habit of upping my budget when I see something. :? it's the "well it's only an extra £100" theory. 8)http://twitter.com/mgalex
