Well, it's only flat on the bottom. Sorry, couldn't resist the pun. Looks just a bit out of
round. Dropped in shipping?? Guess it really doesn't matter - back it goes.

It's a Langster, they were selling them cheap at Pearson's.

Well, Pearsons have still got 25 left according to eBay (still, they´re selling quick, it was 99 last week!)

What happened though? I mean, I know BB shells are not as tough as people think especially with no bottom bracket in them (they´re stiff, but that´s more to do with the tubes they're joined to, and how - isn't it?), but I´d be interested to see what the delivery company did to mash it up like that. How much weight needs putting on it? From what height was the thing dropped? Surely a knock strong enough to knacker the frame like that must have left a pretty telling impression on the box it came in...

Seriously, I hope where you bought it from sees you right, and you don't have to take this one up with the delivery company... Or... you could wait till they´ve sold out, thus getting a better replacement - maybe one of Pearson´s own fixies, or the 2008 Langster with its much cleaner colour scheme / decals!!!

There was no damage to the box it was delivered in, nor is there any damage to the paint where the dent in the bottom bracket is.

It looks like it was dropped in the factory before it was even painted.
