ive got a mini pump at the moment but am thinking about getting alot smaller c02 pump .Are they they worth it and do they work well ? .In all honesty ive been carrying my minipump for 2yrs and have never used it - just fancy something less bulky .
Any recommendations or ones to avoid........thanks.

I've carried a co2 pump for almost a year and have never had to use it until Saturday's ride.I found it to be very good although I would recommend getting 16g cannisters.Inflated my tyre perfectly.Would have no hesitation in recommending them.Mine is an Innovations which I think I got of Wiggle

I've been thinking about buying one of the hybrid pumps that can be used manually or with cartridges. Probably a mini one and then carry two cartridges with me. At least I've got a back-up then should I puncture a bit too frequently in one ride!

How many tubes do you carry?

I carry one cart in the air gun and two in a pack. Don't bother with a pump anymore.

To the OP. If you do a search you'll find this same question asked fairly recently.

Only one tube and some patches just in case. I'm just saying, if I was switching to a CO2 system, I'd rather have a pump as backup as well. Lets say I only had cartridges, I wouldn't want to carry two of them and then puncture a third time. A very unlikely scenario I know, but its better to be safe than sorry ;)

I carry a Co2 pump plus two spare cartridges, plus a pocket pump to get the tyre seated properly before I inflate. I have used mine a couple of times and it is brilliant, a couple of seconds to fully inflate.
