Breakfast!
Dizzy the Egg

I enjoy early morning cycles (1 hour or so), problem is, by the time I'm up, had breakfast and a good drink I'm either too full and bloated, am bursting for the toilet, too hungry, or feel fine, having sat in the house for about an hour or so to let everything settle.
The question is, is there any good starts to the day I could have, like a small breakfast which keeps me filled and hydrated, or some sort of shake which isn't going to see me put on weight?
Cheers

I used to do the same.
Up at 5:30 good hour on the bike.
Home - 3 sh' s - then big bowl of porridge/mug of tea before the 20min walk to work.
Havent got the discipline for it now tho!!0 -
I think a small breakfast (cereal bar, slice of toast, with fruit juice) is the way to go, then have something when you get back.0

How about some toast (brown bread), with honey on.....wont bloat you, a big carb boost, then when you get back from your morning ride have your brekkie then.0

If I go for an early ride... Which is extremely rare...
I tend to to have one weetabix, then a fat breakfast when I get back.. Anything from 2-3 weetabix/porrige or a full english breakfast at the cafe. Although the ride from the cafe can be a bit stomach churning!0 -
I go on a Sat morning about 6am, i just take water and go ride, i found it good to ride on a empty stomach to get my body used to burning fat earlier in the year, i don't do more than 1hr 30 min early morning.
Then i get back and have Porridge and have a SIS Rego drink.
Feel good for the rest of the day, other mornings it's dog walking so the bike suffers.0
