TT frame sizes
Can someone give me some sensible advice. I'm thinking about buying a TT bike but unsure what size to buy. I currently ride a Massi Pro Comp road bike with a 58 cm frame.
I currently use my Massi for everything, training, commuting and Triathlon where I just use some Profile clip ons and change the wheels to Mavic Ksyriums. Thinking of doing Time trials each week too to keep sharp for my Tri's so hence the investment in a dedicated bike.
I'm 5'10". been to 3 different reputable bike shops and got three different answers. Been told to get a smaller frame (56), same size frame or "whatevers comfortable" (followed by a shrug of the shoulders!!!!!!! gee thanks For the customer care!!!!)
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi there.
The obvious answer is to go get fiited at a shop that knows what they're talking about! Where are you - I'm sure someone can recommend a somewhere near you.
Otherwsie, the general rule is to err on the small size for a TT frame, that way you get a shorter head tube, and you might be able to get a more forward position with a shorter tob tube.
For what it's worth I'm 5'11 and ride 56cm road bike, 55cm TT bike.

As Andy said, I'm 6ft and ride a 54 Cervelo for TT but had I not gone into a shop to try some out I would have gone for a 56.0
