Hi guys just wanting to know is the Crank Brothers £ 165.00p
adjustable on the travel seat post a worth while seat post to buy?

A lot of money for a set post, whats your views of them.

  • not available in 27.2 anyway so won't fit your bike. I've had a go of one and found it great to use so I'd get one if and when they do a 27.2mm, just like the office chair really!

    Dont they do shims to make it fit?

    there are no shims yet that can make the seat post smaller. or the frame bigger.

    i was using the maverik version with a remote and when it worked, it was ace but i had to send it back to the manufacturer after it runed into a suspension post!! apparently crank bros have made improvements so i would hope reliability would be one of them.

    gravity dropper do one which is 27.2 and it is reputed to be alot more reliable, i just think they look sh1t

    Apparently Crank Bros are doing a 27.2 next year so we may see them creeping in before the end of the year.

    I splashed out on one and I absolutely love it, just my opinion though :D

    Has been is some horrific weather and it still seems to be holding out well but I make sure I clean it well after every ride.

    Supposedly CB made 120 changes to the design.....cant really tell where though!
