I can't make my mind up between the following Elbow and Knee/shin protection.
Pro-tec Hucker or RaceFace Rally FR
I ride mainly XC, but usually like to finish a ride with a good single-track downhill run.
I can find plenty reviews on the RaceFace Rally FR's, but none on the Pro-Tec Hucker's
Does anybody own a set of Pro-Tec Hucker's, if so are they any good?
Thanks in Advance

I've had 2 sets of RF FR knee/shin (the first set lasted 3 years before wearing out the foam liner and getting too stinky)
its easily the toughest, most secure knee/shin on the market - i have had some nasty slams in Whistler and on Vancouver's North Shore and walked away with seriously deeps scars in the plastic caps
but this protection comes at the cost of mobility, as the RF armour is relatively hard to pedal in unless coasting DH
if you have a hydration pack with knee/shin straps you can stow it on the pack, stop at the top of your climb, put it on and then descend with confidence
otherwise look at something like the 661 Kyle Strait knee pads to give you protection you can pedal in, and wear for your entire ridecheck out my riding - www.robcole.co.uk Banshee Factory Team rider, Da Kine UK Team rider, www.freeborn.co.uk www.eshershore.com0 -
Just maybe finding no reviews will be telling you some thing ?0
