Just bought a Pearl Izumi Slice jersey online. The size chart says I'm a medium but the jersey is quite short. I'm new to cycle jerseys so how long are they supposed be? Do Pearl Izumi come up small? I thought because they are a US company that sizing would be more accurate than some Italian companies. The PI M shorts are a good fit so maybe the tops are meant to be short? The bottom of the jersey just comes round my waist.

Most jerseys are shorter at the front than at the back (some more than others), as when you are on the bike your torso is bent forwards. As long as you are wearing bibshorts and the jersey isn't riding up too much at the back when you stretch your arms forward it I guess it should be ok (..?) Cycling jerseys are certainly a little shorter in general than, say, a T-shirt.

Pearl Izumi kit is usually a generous fit. I have medium in it but large in most other makes except for some of the more extreme Italian stull which is Xlarge.

I bought a Pearl Izumi jersey as a present for my bro's gf, and it was way too short.

Granted her upperbody is fairly long, but it was crop top credentials.

Berghaus, Gill, Cannondale jerseys I've never had any issues with myself.
