I think they're crap, very poor resolution , I'll be buying a decent helmet cam and plug it into my sony handycam.

Off and on, I've had a look at a number of different systems and they're all quite pricey, especially for something that I'm not sure I'll use very often. I'd half an idea to mount 2 or 3 cameras on the bike to have enough footage from different angles and then edit them together - costs, naturally, escalated.

They're certainly not the best cameras around, but it's at a price that I'd be prepared to pay to have a play about with. Maybe the new version'll have improved.

Same low resolution as the ATC2K, what I don't get is that when you turn the sound recording off (sound is the biggest part of a video file) it doesn't stop recording the sound, since the sound recording is so poor i had hoped to jsut turn it off and get more onto the card.

I've used my ATC2K once. Though once I;ve fixed my RC car I might see how it copes with that.

nwallace: Do you know what file format the ATC saves to? Is it compatible with Microsoft Moviemaker? I don't want to have the expense of purchacing conversion software.

Actually, video is generally the biggest part of a video file. Audio generally requires much smaller amounts of data.

So the same resolution just longer recording time? Not worth it.
They're durable (best feature) and give passable video.
