MTB Maintenance course

Does anyone know of a decent 1 or 2 day maintenance course for MTBs' ?
I live in the North West - near Preston, and I'm hoping to get the basics under my belt and learn a little about full sus set ups

Can anybody offer any advice please?

I know Edinburgh Cycle do a course like this and they have a shop in Manchester.

You could ask these guys if they do something, they do riding course

Both based around Bolton/Rivington so not too far for you.

Other than that you could try ringing around the local dealers to see if they do anything.

Edinburgh Bike Co op do them - but have heard mixed things. I find them expensive for what they are, and feel that the best way to learn the basics is from an experienced friend. Even a book like Zinn will have you tuned in in no time.
