Compromised strength

Bit worried.
I purchased a second hand Yeti ARC 08 frame a week ago. Pleased as punch and the frame 'looked' to be in near perfect condition.
Now I don't know what happened between me getting all excited like a giggly school girl and handing over the cash but one thing is for sure, my eyes packed up.
Unwrapped the frame last night to start my build and much to my horror, I see three gouges to the inside of the right chain/wheel stay. I say gouges because they have a depth to them if you pass your finger over the surface. They don't puncture the tube but they are more than merely cosmetic.
This has got me worried.
The seller did tell me that he had to file out the rear wheel drop outs to fit a Hope Pro II hub but I can't see for the life of me how that action could have caused this damage...?
I can post pictures but from the description I've given, do you think the over all strength or the rear end is shot?
Thanks.

This is caused by chainssuck - where the chain fails to leave the chainrings, rides up and jams itself in the stays. Usually the damage is superficial.0

They are pretty large images so they may take a while to load.0 -
That is quite minor to most I have seen! Can't see it being any problem at all.
This is fairly bad:
