Conti GP 4 Seasons on my fixed - excellent, tough and light only 220g. Don't ask me to do a skid, 1) I can't........ and 2) they are too expensive.

Marathon plus - the best and worst at the same time.

i want to take 'em off but know I'll be kicking myself the next time I'm late for work fixing a p*ncture in the rain

I'm running Schwalbe Stelvios. 1 puncture in the past 1200 miles or so.

I tend to agree with the sentiment expressed above that I'd rather have a tyre which punctures occasionally but rides well over one which never punctures and feels like you're riding through glue.

But then, I'm amazed at the number of punctures some people seem to get commuting.

Got my first two punctures using Schwalbe Marathons (standard not plus as they ride like a dog) from broken glass after nearly a year running them. Wear is looking good too.
