FSA Chainset

Just bought a new bike that has an FSA Gossamer Compact Chainset. I've noticed that the chainrings do not run true, ie there's a side to side wobble. The chainset itself does not move, so I'm puting this down to a bend in the actual chainring. Is this normal for some chainsets? I thought it might be something that helps facilitate shifting, in a similar way to the eliptical shimano sets of yesteryear. Or is it simply bent out of shape?

Sound knackered to me - I'd send them back :(

Aye - there shouldn't be any "side to side" movement at all. It wont' facilitate shifting, but it will facilitate rapid chain wear, rear cassette wear and knee pain :!:

What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!
