hello
I am about to go to Coed for the first time. I'm newly back on the MTB and have a Specliazed Rockhopper. It comes with the following tyres -
Specialized Fast Trak LK Sport, 26x2.0", 60TPI, wire bead
Are these any good for Coed ? If not why ? Punctures or grip, or both ?
And what would be a good tyre for Coed ?

They should be fine. I have tried various tyre at Coedy they all take a hammering and the trails are fairly hard so have a go on a short loop and see. Worst case is they cut up and you have to replace them. I always take atleast one spare tyre. Panaracer Fire XC hold up OK and I have heard Maxxiss Minions are brilliant but drag a bit. Pack a tyre boot and leave a spare tyre in the car and have some fun at Coedy..
