I've been deliverating for a while over Panet-X Foucs, Ribble, Pearson or build my own.

Whilst looking a the Cayos I initially considered the Expert because it was dearer but is the spec different enough to justify £600.

I'll be using for Club runs, Sportives and maybe if i'm brave a Club 10TT

The jump from Ultegra to Dura Ace is probably not worth the money in performance terms, but has great posing value.

To me the biggest difference is the wheels.
  • I don't think there's that much difference between Aksiums and Racing 5's, a few grams at most but the performance is almost identical and financially there's only £20 or £30 between a set.

If i were you i'd go planet x ti (with dura ace) or get the planet x team carbon or cayo for £999 and spend £3-400 on a pair of racing 3's or some nice hand built rims. then you'll see real difference.
