London Cyclist down - Old Street RBT

Anyone else come across this at about 8.30 this morning - accident must have happenedt much earlier as only traffic police there and a big site lorry when I went past.
I asked about the cyclist and was told that they were badly hurt but not going to die.
Makes my blood run cold thinking about it. So many possible causes of it, just makes it more obvious to me how as individuals we need to mitigate those causes through sensible & intelligent behavior on the roads.

Went past there at a similar time but wasnt sure what had happened, just hoped it wasnt a cyclist as it was a big lorry!
its not the safest roundabout at all which is why i was so shocked to see someone jump two sets of red lights whilst all the other traffic was moving there yesterday!0
