Bike nicked

Whilst bolted up to a lampost (with two locks) outside work. Only been cycling in London for a few weeks :( Bastards.

    Sorry to hear that, phreak. Hope you have some luck with recovery or insurance.

    Police seemed reasonably optimistic about recovering it, but I can't say I am. It wasn't an expensive bike but it's a pain when you've got used to a bike over the years.

    I was planning to upgrade to a nice one at some point, but I'm not sure I will now if some swine is only going to pinch it.

    One was a bit cheap but the other was a reasonably hefty chain lock. Obviously not hefty enough. Might go with two chain and one U/D next time, but it's a pain having to carry all of that around with you.
