Done and had a response today. All I got was the driver has been identified, not too hard as there are two id plates on the back of the cab, and that appropriate action will be taken.
Todays tw@t is the driver of the red Celica Y674 EYA doing a close pass at speed. Footage in the movies when Youtube are ready.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Bicycle Light Manufacturers; why dont you make lights that can stand up to the daily usage?
I'm now down to 1 front light; the other 2 are in the shop under warranty, including my main light, which I use to see where I'm going. Hope I get it back before too long, or I may have to go out and buy a new one.0 -

okay with MTBing there is fitness, technique, and kit. if you can manage 50 mile rides, then your base fitness should be fine.
Is the bike set up for the sort of land your MTBing? and what sort of MTBing is it?
If folks are just pulling away where up hills? case in point the steeper and/or narly it goes the more likely I am to get to the top first, most if not all of the folks I MTB with are fitter than me, but I've been riding off road for a very long time. you don't need to be fit to climb well, it doesn't hurt mind you!0 -
rant at my brother for takiing his kids mtbing this weekend on his terrible mtb. remembered what i missed so much that i can see a mtb being added to the collection.
That or just turning the CX from road to cross country set up..... Either way it's going to hurt0 -

To the oafs in the red Corsa yesterday morning, out near Woburn during the Brickhills Challenge.
If the road ahead of you is empty save for one oncoming cyclist on the opposite side of the road and me a hundred yards further back, an extended blast on your car horn does nothing other than to flag up the fact that your stupid on-its-last-legs Corsa is full of fat, ignorant and stupid prats, all laughing at the fatter-than-the-rest-of-you driver for managing to successfully press the horn button with his sodding sausage-shaped fingers as you passed the guy I was reeling in. And when you passed me 5 seconds later still laughing, it probably didn't occur to you all that you look exactly like the fat oiks that French & Saunders used to play.
If you spent some of your spare time on a push bike instead of driving from Burger King to MacDonalds and back in a quest for fat, you might be less inclined to use the car horn as weapon. The truth is that you'd still be fat, ignorant idiots, but you'd be fat ignorant idiots on bikes instead of fat ignorant idiots in a failing red Corsa. Muppets.0 -
To the pillock in the Southwark refuse truck VX04FYN. It was bad enough that you (or another equally inept driver employed on that Veolia contract) tried to kill me in January this year but to perform the same manoeuvre this morning was a bit extreme.
I have emailed the same chap I sent my complaints to earlier in the year and now await an anxious few days before the B0ll0x reply comes back :
“Dear Sir,
Para 1  :
We’re so sorry for your distress blah blah (insert all manner of patronising cr@p here).
Para 2  :
All our drivers are trained blah blah (insert inane sh1te and condescending comments here).
Para 3  :
(Not sure what goes here, their pea-sized brains usually can’t concentrate this far.)
(in)Sincerely Yours,
Joe-I-Couldn’t-give-a-damn-Bloggs”
And apart from that and the to$$er in the Discovery driving like I would expect (rather poorly) through Dulwich, nothing to rant about, smiles all around....

A rant at myself for making a right b@lls up of leaving for work this morning. Put the helmet on then realised I have to put the bag over my head first, took helmet off put bag on, put helmet back on. Turned on rear light then remembered the lights on my helmet so off comes the helmet agin and I switch the two lights on then put the helmet back on. Make it out of the flat and downstairs then make a right mess of getting out the front door. Should have stayed in bed :oops:I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

a big sarcastic *thanks* to the eejit cyclist who thought it would be fun to squeeze in between the lorry and me just to get past me going up the rise on Evelyn St, just after KFC. was it really necessary to force your fellow cyclist to swerve towards the curb? let alone scare me silly with your idiotic move??! its bad enough that I need to dodge tin cans and motorised 2-wheelers without my fellow cyclist making me feel unsafe on the road. idiot. yes, that word for you isn't too harsh! next time show a little consideration and patience for your fellow cyclist. its not like you were going that fast anyway, I kept up with you all the way to LB.0

Four teenage lady chavs playing chicken with a 16 stone man doing 30mph is not my idea of a fun ride home. The leader of the pack, not content with running out in front of me actually stopped in the middle of my lane, I seriously brushed her grey hoodie as i flew past. Guess who would be the villain if i had caught the little scratter in the hood or 10" earring and smashed her onto the tarmac?Bianchi Nirone C2C FCN40

today is overcast. before 8am it was quite dull. so why do cyclists ride without lights switched on when they have them on their bike? I'm not talking about the eejit ninja's out there. these are people who have lights on their bike but aren't using them. clearly they know the value of lights in the dark as they've bothered to buy lights, attach them to their bike, and one would hope use them. some education is needed in when lights can be useful....i.e. in low light levels, when it's raining, foggy or misty.
while on the subject of lights....some people could do with new batteries out there.
and also some would benefit from checking that their rucksack, coat, bag, whatever, isn't obscuring their lights. the amount of cyclist I see with a lovely flashing light on the back of their helmet - great. well done. but your blooming rucksack means that it can't be seen from behind. you may as well not bother!!0 -
UPS, if you offer me the opportunity to pay tax and import duty in advance why the fudge does your driver then ask my wife for £350 on delivery? I'm not too bothered about the mix up of the fact that I need to make several calls to sort it out, but it's the fact that Mrs Asprilla now knows it cost a lot more than I told her.

Motorist decided to turn right thinking gap in traffic was sufficient for him to make it. it wasn't (rant) :x . Trying frantically to brake, I knew impact was going to be painful, my immediate thought (oh! s**t). As me & my bike flew through the air over the back end of the car, again my thoughts (you stupid t*ss*r, the driver that is),ouch!! Witnesses, fantastic, helped until ambulance arrived. Result broken collar bone & acromion, but worse, Police interviewed driver who has, no licence (rant), no insurance (rant) & no MOT for his car (rant) :x . Now awaiting trip to fracture clinic. Anybody any advice on what I should do :?: Or anybody got similar experience :?: Might take tiddly-winks...[/img]0

You think I should apologise to him, I assume you're taking the p**s. He turned across my path turning right against traffic, I hit the side of his car and flew over the back end. Sympathy for a motorist without insurance, licence,MOT. I take it your a weekend cyclist then. No chops for real cycling!!!0
